Konting tampo lang naman.

I really love my dad. Mabait, malambing, at napakamapagmahal kasi nun. Noon, certified daddy's girl ako. Palaging ako yung kinakampihan nun pag may away-bata kami ng mga kapatid ko; at pag umiiyak na ako, yayakapin agad ako nun at papatahanin. These memories always make me smile pag naaalala ko sila, But now, time seems to change everything.

Pero kasi, I just miss him so much.. Mali ba ako?! Haist.

Papa ko hehe.. and me..

Live, Love, Laugh!!

" It is possible to cross an ocean
without getting your feet wet.
But it is impossible to cross life
without getting your eyes wet. "

True enough right? I got inspired with this quotation when I encountered it. Though we cannot avoid problems, I  still believe that we can live through our life happily with GOD as our guide...

Tears may be inevitable, but we can always SMILE... :]

MIS last meeting...

October 9, 2010. Reporting. Free Lunch at Jollibee Sta. Mesa.

This is not a typical "last meeting" for college students like us. He is the only professor who treated ALL his students for lunch! Hahah.. THANKS SO MUCH SIR!!

" To teach is to touch a life forever..."

I suddenly remembered this famous saying from my high school days. I'm not being "sipsip", but I think Sir Peig is one of those teachers who made an impact in my student life. I know he doesn't even know my name or recognize my face, but still I know he loved everyone of us, his students. He wanted us to LEARN, not just memorize the lessons, that's why I know that he cared. And I can say that's he's happy too while teaching us. I can say he's really one of a kind... :)

Sir THANK YOU for touching our lives! Always take care and GODBLESS!!

I miss them.

"We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun..."

I miss my high school friends! I wonder if they feel the same too...

Chance versus Choice

When you meet the right person to love at the right place and at the right time, that is called a chance.
Being caught up in a situation where there are many people out there who are more attractive, smarter, and richer than your mate and yet you decide to love your mate just the same, that is called a choice.
Fate brings you together, but it’s still up to you to make it happen.
We may meet someone by chance, but loving and staying with someone is still a choice!

Makes sense?!

Really???

Some people look for the perfect person to love…
But what they don’t realize is that a person becomes perfect,
When we begin to love them sincerely…

I'm on tour!

Last September 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2010, we had our tour in Cebu-Bohol. I feel happy and satisfied though I felt very tired because of the itinerary. I experienced so many firsts in this tour…

First time to travel on air.
inside the plane...

clouds...
Chocolate Hills?!
Technically speaking, this wasn’t my first time to ride a plane, because when I was about 3 years old I already experienced it. But then I can’t remember ANYTHING about that so I consider this one as my first, and it was GREAT! Even though the view on the window beside me is blocked by the plane’s wings, I can still see clearly from above everything that we passed by, like the city, the mountains, the ocean, and of course the clouds. Hahah, first time eh, that’s why I spent the whole trip looking outside the window…

On Cebu Tour.

We visited the Mactan Shrine, Lapu-Lapu Monument, Alegre Guitar Factory, Taoist Temple, Cebu Heritage Monument, and the Magellan’s Cross. Then we went shopping at the Cebu Best Store and Taboan Market. I just felt sad because there were only five of us from 3-2d in the bus, together with BSTM 3-1d…

In Mactan Shrine... It's just the four of us and Jaymark in our bus..

First time on a 5-star hotel.

In SPARKZ..
We checked-in on Crown Regency Hotels and Towers in Cebu City. It was my first time to check-in on a hotel like this, that’s why I felt ignorant because of the hotel’s card key… you will use that to operate the elevator, to open your room door and for the lights and other appliances inside to operate. It’s really high-tech.

The food is also SUPERB. On our dinner, we ate on SPARKZ restaurant in the 37th floor. The ambiance in the place is very relaxing because of the overlooking view of the city and the live band.

First edge-coaster in the world.

At first I felt very nervous… but then, when I am already in it, I became amazed upon seeing the view. It’s not scary at all because they have enough safety features on the ride. My partner who is from BSTM 3-1N tilted the ride to its farthest that’s why I saw the ground from the 38th floor; and it’s really cool. But still I was not satisfied because I think it was just too fast! I wanted to have another round…

On Weesam Express…
Weesam...
It was also my first time to ride a fast craft or ferry since I haven’t tried yet the one that traverses the Pasig River. Bohol is just 2 hours away from Cebu by riding this.

my prize...
I was just shocked because I was about to sleep in the ferry when suddenly some crew from Crown Regency gave everyone pieces of paper for us to write our names on, because they will conduct some sort of a raffle. And guess what? I won that raffle. The prize is a pass for one to the 4D Theater in the hotel. But unfortunately, I cannot make use of that anymore because we will not be heading back to Crown Regency. But still I am thankful because I won, though honestly, I will be more thankful if the prize is something more useful, or if it is convertible to cash. (Hahah!) I really have this sort of luck or something like that in me because my name is frequently drawn in raffles like this, though I never won major prizes, only minor ones…

On Bohol Tour.

The green Chocolate Hills...
Our first stop is the Chocolate Hills in Carmen, Bohol. I really love those cute lumps on the ground! I also love the fact that I am seeing them personally, not like before that I only look at them on textbooks. Then, we stopped by the Bilar Manmade Forest. Next, we had our lunch at the Loboc River while cruising. We stopped by the Ati Tribe on the other side of the river. After the Loboc River, we went to see the tarsiers in captivity, and they are so cute! I just pity them because a lot of us take pictures of them and are very noisy, that’s why I think they are really irritated. Then we visited the Baclayon Church where we saw an image of a person on the outside wall of the church. (I forgot his name!) After the tour we went to our accommodation, the Bohol Plaza Hotel.

Our way back home via SF21.

We went back to Cebu, also via Weesam Express, and there we rode Superferry 21 bound for Manila. It was also my first time to travel by sea, and I really love the experience. We also went up the control room for our familiarization tour. I just missed the buffet meals on Cebu and Bohol because in here all the meals are plated.

This is why I love to be in the Tourism industry… I love to travel! J

Sparkling in White.. :)

Last September 19, we had this “alumni homecoming-slash-acquaintance party” entitled “Sparkling in White” held in Palacio de Maynila in Roxas Boulevard. We paid P500 for this event, that’s why I expected that it would be fun and is worth paying for. But…

For me, the program was okay, remembering the history of the Tourism and Transportation Department and seeing the performers – especially when the professors suddenly performed on the stage. The venue is beautiful though it is hard to locate; we had a hard time going there and the driver didn’t even heard of the place. But most of all, I really felt disappointed because of the FOOD. They served the dinner very late so that the students will watch the program and not just go home after eating. Then, when they served dinner, everybody fell in line to the buffet table. Unfortunately, when it is already our turn to get food, there are no rice left, and also pasta. It is really unfair! If they knew at the first place that their food is not enough, instead of buffet they can serve us plated or set dinner so that everybody can eat…

It's me in white.. :)
I don’t want to blame the organizers because I know they did their best and did not expect that to happen. I just wish that if it is already our turn to organize an event like that in our fourth year, we will not encounter problems like that and we can do it better than them.
